Juvenile prisoners are capable of the most inconceivable cruelty. They are usually neglected and try to handle trauma and an unfamiliar prison environment by using as much violence as they can. Three teenagers tortured two of their cellmates for days but were unable to explain why. The custodians try to monitor what is going on but find themselves outnumbered by more and more prisoners. Often the victim also has to be convinced to talk about the experiences of being constantly abused.
The complete elimination of school segregation at Gyöngyöspata’s Demeter Nekcsei Elementary School seems impossible despite a court ordering an end to the separation of Roma and non-Roma children. The school headmaster responsible for introducing segregation in the first place managed to retain his job after the verdict. He dismisses the accusations, the court case and its results as “lies”. A new wave of refugees could start towards Canada, according to the Miskolc Roma Ethnic Minority Council (MRNÖ). Canadians take that notice so seriously that employees of their Budapest embassy already appeared in Miskolc to enquire about the situation. According to Gábor Váradi, president of MRNÖ in the past one or two months alone, 120-130 people either notified them of their intent to immigrate, or asked assistance from them in the process.

The Independent Trade Union of Healthcare Workers invited nurses, paramedics and other healthcare workers to dress in black and protest the working conditions and humiliating salary of Hungarian healthcare employees at Normafa hill. The action is in solidarity with the initiative of hospital nurse Mária Sándor. They said: nobody else stands up for them, so they will stand up for themselves. But also for the interests of patients. “Black movement”, organized by them on Facebook activized workers with slogans like “Nurses! Paramedics! How long we will take it?” Nurses were gave comments to 168 Óra on the record: they are no longer afraid to voice their opinions.
